Success Highways builds a student's success resiliency skills so he/she has the motivation to stay in school. Through the program's written exercises, classroom interactions, and a unique assessment, students explore their current lives, motivators, actions, and goals. Success Highways is aligned with state K-12 content standards in all 50 states and is easily integrated into the existing curriculum. The program helps students realize that education is relevant to their goals, and it creates a necessary resiliency so students can move past any obstacles. Additionally, the program builds trusting relationships between the educator and his/her students based on their mutual goal of success. The student becomes vested in the process of education and is able to tackle a rigorous curriculum leading to increased graduation rates, higher grades, and better test scores for even the most unlikely of students.

Success Highways Data Services
Any school participating in Success Highways may enroll in Success Highways Data Services, for which ScholarCentric will create an individualized school report tracking the progress of the participants in the Success Highways program. The report includes comparisons of test scores, grades, and attendance, as well as a statistical analysis. Such data can help schools meet the requirement to show improvement under the Federal No Child Left Behind law. Schools have also traditionally used the information for their School Improvement Plans, as well as to improve their general morale and school performance.

Success Highways puts students on the right path This research-based, teacher-driven curriculum helps students preforming all levels to achieve success and graduate from high school, in part by building academic resiliency. Developed for students in grades 7 through 10, Success Highways teaches students how to overcome adversity and deal with academic and social pressures, helping them stay in school, score higher on achievement tests, and prepare for future education and adult life. Starting with an individualized assessment, students begin to explore the connections between their current life and their future. The curriculum continues by weaving together powerful classroom conversations about real issues and guides students to develop their own personal success plans. Combining these ingredients in a classroom setting creates a potent tool for empowering students to see the relevance of education, graduating from high school, and achieving academic and life success.

Teachers can deliver this program in only fifteen 45-minute classroom lessons throughout the school year.
